2023 Honda HR-V Configurations
One of the first things you'll notice when shopping for a 2023 Honda HR-V is that Honda did away with the mid-range EX trim, which was previously available for the 2022 HR-V. But the other three trims remain. You can choose between the LX, the Sport, or the EX-L.
You'll find some standard features in all three 2023 Honda HR-V trims. For instance, all three trims come with a 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine. They also all come with a continuously variable transmission and the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. In addition, you'll find push-button start in all the 2023 HR-V trims, along with features such as LED headlights and a 7-inch digital gauge display. And in keeping with Honda's commitment to safety, you'll get access to the Honda Sensing suite of safety features in every HR-V trim.
You're even going to find that all three 2023 Honda HR-V trims will be available for right around the same price. But you'll get slightly different configurations when you purchase one 2023 HR-V trim over another, so it's worth checking what each one has to offer. We break down each of the 2023 Honda HR-V configurations below:
LX
The LX might be the most basic 2023 Honda HR-V trim of the bunch, but you won't want to automatically overlook it because it does include quite a few features that make it stand out. On the exterior, it has a small spoiler toward the back of the roof, 17-inch wheels, and power-adjustable side mirrors. It doesn't look all that different from the other 2023 HR-V trims.
The interior of the 2023 HR-V LX is what holds it back from reaching the same level as the Sport and EX-L trims. While it does include features such as a 7-inch infotainment touch screen, it also includes generic cloth upholstery and seats that you'll have to adjust manually. Thankfully, it doesn't lack in the cargo department, as it can provide up to 55.1 cubic feet of cargo space. But you aren't going to find as many bells and whistles in the 2023 HR-V LX trim as you will in the other trims. It starts at an MSRP of $23,800.The Sport
Sport
The 2023 Honda HR-V Sport trim lives up to its name. It has a much sportier look than the LX trim, thanks to its fancier grille, black-finished 18-inch wheels, side-mirror caps, and chrome exhaust tip. It also includes sporty touches on the interior, such as red stitching on the seats. Even though it has the same engine as the LX trim, you'll feel different driving around in the Sport trim due to all the finishing touches that appear in and on it.
The 2023 HR-V Sport has some extra features that you won't find in the lower LX trim. From heated front seats and tinted rear glass to a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a six-speaker audio system, you'll be treated to features you won't get when you're cruising around in a 2023 HR-V LX. They may very well make it worth spending a little more money on the Sport trim. It starts at an MSRP of $25,900.
EX-L
The 2023 Honda HR-V EX-L is only marginally more expensive than the LX and Sport trims, but you'll find that it has just about everything you'd want from your Honda. It isn't too dramatically different from the LX and Sport trims on the exterior outside of its two-tone wheels and its moonroof. But you'll see a big difference between the EX-L trim and the LX and Sport trims on the inside.
For starters, you'll find leather upholstery in the 2023 HR-V EX-L. There's also a power-adjustable driver's seat, an eight-speaker audio system, a wireless charging pad, and an upgraded 9-inch infotainment touch screen. A dual-zone climate control system and ambient lighting help to set the right mood. It starts at an MSRP of $27,900.
2023 Honda HR-V Color Options
In addition to figuring out which 2023 Honda HR-V trim option you want to drive home in, you'll also need to pick out the color that suits you best when shopping for your new vehicle. There are various colors available, but we should point out that not all trims are available in all colors. Here are the color options you can choose from with each 2023 HR-V trim:
- The LX: Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Nordic Forest Pearl, and Platinum White Pearl.
- The Sport: Crystal Black Pearl, Milano Red, Nordic Forest Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, and Urban Gray Pearl.
- The EX-L: Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Milano Red, Modern Steel Metallic, Nordic Forest Pearl, and Platinum White Pearl.
As you can see, all three 2023 Honda HR-V trims come in most of the available colors. But a few colors are reserved only for the Sport and EX-L trims.
