2023 Honda Pilot Q&A
Was the Honda Pilot Redesigned for 2023?
For the 2023 model year, Honda fully redesigned the Pilot to match the newest models in Honda's latest lineup, including the Civic Sedan. The revised engine, the addition of the rugged TrailSport trim, and the improved interior design offer drivers even more options than last year. The upscale Touring and Elite trims add a larger 9-inch touch screen and a variety of snazzy luxury features, allowing for added comfort and refinement.
When Can I Buy a 2023 Honda Pilot?
Honda released the 2023 version of the Pilot in December 2022, but it may be a little while before it hits all dealerships. Despite rumors of a hybrid variant, there's no hybrid tech in the latest Pilot quite yet, and the automaker expects that it'll take some time to electrify the SUV. The Pilot still stands out as the only three-row passenger SUV in Honda's current lineup. When the hybrid version comes out, we'll be the first to let you know.
How Much Does the 2023 Honda Pilot Cost?
The 2023 Honda Pilot has a starting MSRP of $39,150, while the off-road TrailSport starts at $48,350. The top Elite trim has a starting MSRP of $52,030 and adds a host of luxury features and add-ons, including LED door trim lighting, heated second-row seating, a larger 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 110-volt outlet for easier and faster mobile device charging.

Exterior
Honda went all out in designing the Honda Pilot for 2023, and the newest model has a powerful, aggressive exterior that includes a fully redesigned front end with a unique hexagon-mesh grille and narrow LED headlights. Straight edges and a muscular body shape give the Pilot a rugged look and feel. The Pilot rides on huge 20-inch standard alloy wheels and comes standard with roof rails that allow you to load up bikes or camping equipment with ease.
Interior
Due to its slightly longer wheelbase and height, the Pilot comfortably seats up to eight passengers and is far roomier than its predecessor. The SUV boasts 114 cubic feet of storage space with the seats folded flat, offering plenty of room to fit all the luggage, camping gear, and equipment you need for your next big adventure. A hands-free power tailgate also makes loading and unloading easier with just a kick under the back bumper. The available leather-trimmed seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel offer a little added luxury, and the SUV contains plenty of cup holders regardless of trim.

Safety Specs
The 2023 Honda Pilot comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features to ensure the safety of its passengers. Key features include the Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies, a multi-angle rearview camera, and advanced front, side, and curtain airbags. Additional safety features include vehicle stability assist, anti-lock braking system, and hill start assist. The Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Monitor is also available on higher trims. Overall, the 2023 Honda Pilot offers a range of safety features that prioritize the safety and security of all passengers.
Engine & Performance
If you enjoy going off the beaten path and need a capable SUV to conquer the unpaved road with ease, the new TrailSport trim comes with a robust all-wheel-drive system that adds Sand and Trail modes. These modes are also available on the top trims and offer superior traction. The TrailSport additionally has an array of snazzy exterior features and systems to further improve off-road driving, including a special suspension system with a 1-inch lift, steel skid plates, and a hill-descent control system.
